About Love Wales

Love Wales was born from a number of previous failed projects. I went through three different projects from last year right up to now. For various reasons they never worked out sadly& time become absolutely critical & a luxury I could now not afford.

Concept:
After the aforementioned failures, time became a luxury I could not afford. I decided to do a spec-ad for a Welsh Tourism promotion as this allowed me to go out and shoot some of the beautiful locations using a DJI Mavic Mini 2. I wanted this to show the best of Wales and to encourage visitors to come back to Wales.

Reflection:
I really enjoyed making this and feel if I had more time and not a number of previous failed projects then I could have done so much more. Of course, that is the nature of the beast we deal with – the constant striving to better myself and my skills. Some of the things I would do different include having slower shots when over the river and add more Foley into the scenes to give the viewer a more immerse experience.
